Dunktank Rodeo is the creative alias of an artist who came to understand that fine art was too polite, greeting cards were too honest, and the carnival never really left town — it just found a studio.
Born somewhere between a county fair midway and a late-night regret, the brand occupies the beautiful no-man's-land between a carnival barker and a wanted poster. The aesthetic? Weathered. Irreverent. Occasionally alarming. If your grandmother would hang it in the parlor and your parole officer would flag it as a "person of interest," the job is done.
Every sticker, print, and original piece is hand-drawn with the kind of care usually reserved for things that probably shouldn't exist — which is to say, a great deal of care, dressed in a vest it found behind the ferris wheel. Based in Ada and Hugo, Oklahoma, operating under the banner of the Gypsy Dirt Clowns.
